The Engine of Localized Economic Sovereignty

Every DSP-earning activity automatically funds a hierarchical network of 7 community treasuries — from global down through continents, countries, states, and cities. These treasuries accumulate real economic value that communities govern collectively.

Automatic Allocation

When a user earns DSP, 70% of the matching DSP (7 out of 10 slots) is automatically split across 7 community treasuries based on their home and host locations. No manual transfers needed.

Geographic Hierarchy

Each user funds both home-country and host-country treasuries. A Kenyan in Canada simultaneously funds treasuries in Kenya and Canada — from continent down to city level.

Community Governance

Each community elects its own leadership council — President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Council Members — who govern treasury operations through transparent Yay/Nay/Abstain voting.

APoCT TGE Efficiency

Community treasuries convert at the Average PoCT (APoCT) of their members during TGE events. Higher collective trust = more $DIASPORA for the community.

Each "unit" = 10% of the matched DSP. 7 slots flow to community treasuries (70% of the match). If a state is not set, its fraction rolls up to the country level.

Diaspora Direct Investment

Community Capital, Not Bank Capital

Community treasuries aren't for savings — they're active capital. The DDI framework enables post-TGE lending and investment, powered entirely by the diaspora economy. Funds are for investment, not savings.

Diaspora Direct Investments Loans — Host Community

Host location treasuries fund community loans for members to start, expand or operate a business within their host local community. Applicants must have a PoCT score of 91+ before voting opens. A public discussion group chat is created when the application is submitted so community members can discuss before voting. Loan approval requires a 51%+ majority vote from community members (minimum 10-member quorum), with a 10-day voting window at each level. If local treasury funds are insufficient, requests cascade upward — city → state → country → continent → global.

Community Vote

Loan decisions are made by 51%+ of community member votes — not leaders. A minimum quorum of 10 voters is required. Voting is open for 10 days at each community level, auto-closing when quorum is met and the period elapses.

Business Loans

Loans are exclusively for starting, expanding, or operating a business based in the host local community. PoCT score and $DIASPORA token balance determine eligibility and maximum loan capacity.

Smart Contract Managed

Disbursement and repayment are tracked by a Loan Management Controller smart contract, ensuring transparent and automated enforcement of loan terms, disbursement schedules, and repayment tracking.

Foreign Diaspora Direct Investments — Home Country ($1M+)

Home location treasuries fund large-scale expansion projects of $1,000,000+ for existing businesses in the home country. When an application is submitted, a public discussion group chat is created for community members to deliberate on the project. A two-vote process ensures rigorous due diligence: first a community vote to approve investigation, then independent consultants verify viability before a final 67% supermajority vote (1,000-member quorum, 100-day window) to disburse funds.

Large-scale agricultural expansion projects — farming operations, food processing, and agribusiness ventures that strengthen food security and create employment in the home country.

Healthcare & Medical

PoCT 91+ Gate — Business owners must have a Proof of Community Trust score of 91+ before voting opens. Community members vouch up or down using the trust slider.

Consultant Staking — Paid consultants must stake their fee on the project's success. If a project fails, they forfeit their staked fee — eliminating fraud incentive.

Continental Solidarity — Funder and recipient must be on the same continent. Multiple countries can pool funds for a single project, with returns split pro-rata by contribution.

B2B Settlement

The Trust Slider

Long-press any message to rate the sender's trust on a 0-100 slider. In DM chats, the slider appears once — a one-time trust signal. In community, event, group, and organization chats, ratings are continuous — your latest rating overwrites previous ones as trust evolves. Full-trust ratings (>90) require staking 100 DSP as skin in the game.

Elected Leadership Council

Each community elects 4 leadership roles: President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Council Member. Qualified candidates self-nominate, and the community votes them into office.

Yay / Nay / Abstain Voting

Every vote is a clear Yay, Nay, or Abstain. Candidates need over 50% favorable rate to win. If a leader drops below 50%, they are automatically voted out — real accountability.

Transparent Elections

All vote counts, candidacies, and election results are visible to community members in real time. System messages announce candidacies in community chat.

Merit-Based Eligibility

Only members who meet all three criteria can run for leadership: 100+ days active on the platform, admin of a 100+ member group chat, and a PoCT score of 90+. Qualified candidates are auto-populated.
